Laura grew up in a small, rural town on the outskirts of San Diego, Ca. After her spouse landed a job at Ohio State, they kissed the Cali weather good bye and welcomed the four seasons with open arms. The slower pace of Ohio living, coupled with the cultural amenities offered in the Short North area, have made this duo residents for life. Laura is beginning a Librarian position at Weinland Park Elementary, where her two sons attend. She has been very impressed with the school and encourages any parents living in the Short North area to contact her with questions and also schedule a tour!
Marque moved to the Weinland Park neighborhood over five years ago with her husband and five sons. Two of her children attend Weinland Park ES in the first and third grades, one is a sixth grader at Dominion MS, one is a seventh grader at Columbus North International and the oldest is a sophomore at CAHS. Marque also finds time to be a Parent Consultant at Weinland Park ES and to partner with Community Properties of Ohio to run Family University.
